Year that is slowly coming to an end was for the British duet Bars&Melody very turbulent. They changed their record label, dropped songs that would be on their first album, been on tour in America, toured much of Europe… They were in Zagreb, and we are still looking forward to the concert in Belgrade. All of the things we listed were more than enough reason to talk to them, and here’s what they revealed for SUPER TEEN this time.
The single „Lighthouse“ was released recently, what were the reactions of the fans during the first performances of the song?
Leo: The fans seem to love „Lighthouse“ and it’s the best feeling!
Charlie: They loved it, there is nothing better than spending months planning a release and when it’s finally out people love it it’s the best feeling.
The tour is almost over, what are your impressions so far?
Leo: Touring is something I miss so much when I’m not on tour, so end of tour is always sad.
Charlie: I love touring, it’s my favorite part of this job, I hate to see any tour end but there will always be another.
What will you do when tour comes to an end – rest or start working on new song?
Leo: I think I’m going to go snowboarding and hang with my friends.
Charlie: Rest for some time… ready for the big start next year… shhh
What are your plans for next year?
Leo and Charlie: A lot of big things happening next year…not a lot we can talk about right now but all will be revealed soon.
The fans are quite impatient and constantly ask us if we know your plans for visiting Serbia, so what can you told us about that?
Leo I would love to come to Serbia and I’m getting impatient too!
Charlie: I’m sure we will come very soon, we love our Serbian fans and can’t wait to meet them all.
You were participants in spin-off „Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions“. How did you feel when you re-entered the stage where everything started for you?
Leo: It was so fun, it almost felt like we we’re going home!
Charlie: It was so cool, so many friends, familiar faces, it was good to take a trip down memory lane.
Was the competition hard because of ongoing tour, working on new single?
Leo: We love a competition and we work well under pressure, we always get it done and put all our passion into it!
Charlie: It was definitely hard, we didn’t have a lot of time to prepare but we are bars and melody, working good under pressure is what we do
