Communities around the world are still experiencing a shortage of healthcare workers and every eleven seconds a pregnant woman or newborn dies, mostly from preventable causes. Since COVID-19 many more newborn lives are at risk because of the increased lack of access to water, soap, vaccines and medicines that prevent diseases. Roditelji devojčice istakli su kako su vrlo srećni što je rođena zdrava, kao i zbog toga što je porođaj protekao u najboljem mogućem redu. Imali smo sreće, svesni smo da nisu svi mogli imati ovako miran porođaj. Mnoge zajednice i dalje se bore sa nedostatkom zdravstvenog osoblja, a svakih 11 sekundi majka ili beba umru pri porođaju – razlozi za smrt uglavnom su stvari koje su mogle biti sprečene prevencijom. Mnogi mališani su izloženi riziku zbog pojave korona virusa, postoji mogućnost da neće imati pristup vodi, sapunu, vakcinama…“, napisali su novopečeni roditelji Katy Perry i Orlando Bloom
